"To Travel is to Live" are the wise words of Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. I believe in my life I feel these words deep into my soul. I travel because I need to. I also need to share my passion with others. I find no greater joy than building a custom travel package for a client and having them walk back into my office to share their exciting, life changing stories with me upon their return.

I have travelled extensively and luxuriously to over 35 countries worldwide. In 2018 I began taking the necessary steps to becoming a travel agent. By doing so I was able to turn my life long passion into my dream career. For years I was my family and friends go-to travel planner. After a life changing journey around the world in 2018 I knew where my place in the world was.

I took a travel agent certification course, dozens of product knowledge certificates and began working for my home town travel agency. Now 6 years later I am the proud owner of my own specialty boutique travel agency. The Travellers Agency is located in Sorrento B.C Canada. From small town Sorrento I work with clients around the world. Teaching them to experience the art of travel. Through my customized itineraries they celebrate the journey, coming home renewed and hungry for more.

I have travelled to many bucket list destinations. I've slept in an over water bungalow in the Maldives, rode a camel through the Moroccan Sahara desert to witness a sunrise, celebrated Diwali in India, swam with whale sharks in the Philippines and of course fulfilled my love of Disney more times than I can count in Disneyland, Disneyworld and even Hong Kong Disney. These are just a few of my treasured travel memories showcasing my world of experience.

Germany Chritmas Markets

Hello travel lovers!

Are you an avid lover of Christmas Vacation travel? I am.

I love to travel during the Christmas season. Did you know that Germany during December is one of the most magical destination in the world?

There is a world of Christmas magical, amongst midevial villages and historical cities.

I have travelled to destinations world wide during the Christmas season, however few destinations I've experienced are as wonderful, luxurious and festive as Germany.

A typical Christmas market trip that I can plan for you will be 8-12 days.

I usually have you flying into Frankfurt from here you will experience your first night exploring Frankfurt.

Next you will head south to Rothenburg ob de Tauber to experience the magical wall city and the unique market here. I always recommend staying in the village for at least one night. My favourite hotels are The Romantik Hotel and Hotel Gastehaus. Both are historic and authentic and in amazing locations.

Next you will travel to Nuremburg, stay in the heart of the old city and steps from the markets. The market here is often voted the best in Germany.

We can add on a night or two in Munich so you can travel to Neuschwanstein- the castle that inspired Walt Disney's cinderella castle at Disneyland.

Return to Munich for the market, the BMW museum and so much more.

Next we head north to Weimer. This historical town was once home to famous playwrights- Johann von Wolfgang and Fredrich Von Schiller. If your a history buff, you may be interested to learn Weimer was where the 3rd Reich was born. On a more emotional front, you can easily visit the humbling Buchenwald concentration camp from Weimer.

Weimer also hosts an abundance of winter activities such as an ice skating rink at the markets, museums, art history and so much Christmas magic you'll depart feeling so warm from al of the gluhwien you've sampled. Happy.

My favourite hotel in Weimer is Hotel Elephant, literally a few steps from the market.

After Weimer I suggest heading west to Berkastel-Kues. The best location to stay is the Castle called Schloss Leiser. The castle is about 10 minutes from Berkastel by car, surrounded by vineyards.

Bernkastel is a small hidden gem situated along the Moselle River. Home of the large- advent calendar hotel that opens a new window each day into December until Chritmas arrive. Visit one of the ancient Roman wineries for a tasting.

Now we drive North to Aachen where Roman history surrounds and towers the market square One night here.

Then we head up to Trier, The Roman aquaducks and history are situated all around the large market. Shopping is in abundance here and you'll be able to easily fill your CHristams Shopping list here with local hand made wares.

Next stop the famous market of Cologne. The cathedral in the market square is breathtaking. After a few days exploring Cologne, sipping the gluhwein and the kolsh bier head east to Berlin.

In Berlin, tour the remnants of the Berlin wall. Visit the many Christmas markets, take a diner river cruise. Shop till you drop and enjoy each moment before you depart Germany.

Each market is unique, each market offer special foods, drinks, cultural experiences and fun.
